With her family by her side, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Maria Elsa on May 4th, 2021 at the tender age of 69 years. Loving wife of Randy for 38 years. Devoted mother of Jennifer LaPointe, Michael (Shannon) Coombe. Stepmother of Jeremy (Holly & Family) Coombe. She is the “BEST GRANDMA EVER” of Lucas, Myla, Keira and Noah. Predeceased by her parents, Juan and Maria Celia Rendon, brother Juan Rendon and sister Diane Vazquez. Dear sister of Blanche Razo, Rafaela Vasquez, Jose (Rosalinda) Rendon, and Roger (Kathy) Rendon. She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and all extended family across the United States, as well as her very best friend and bingo partner for life, Mary-Jo Santia. Elsa was a kindhearted soul with lots of love to give, and was a “Grandma” to all. She loved cooking for an army and always welcomed all with no judgement. She was kind, gentle, and willing to help anyone in need. Her hard work, her interest and her love for her family history will never be forgotten. A celebration of Elsa’s life will be held at a later date.
