Obituary for Les Dickens

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Les on September 12, 2020 at the age of 71.

Loving husband and best friend to Barb, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage. Loving dad to Les Jr (Tanya), Sonny (Kim) and Lady (Christian). Adored and respected Gramps to Jocelyn (Matt), Sam, precious Grandpa to Liam (of B.C.), proud Pa to Lelaina and Delilah. Predeceased by his parents Les and Doreen Dickens and by his mother-in-law Julia Robertson. Beloved brother to Heather (late Roy) Spezowka, and the late Ed (late Bev). Les will be missed by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.

Les retired from Chryslers after 39 years of dedicated service. Les was a Cape Bretoner by marriage and mortgage and he will miss his Cape Breton friends back home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Welcome Centre for Women and Families would be appreciated by family.
