Obituary for Antonio Villella

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Antonio, with his loving family by his side on April 29, 2022 at 65 years of age. Devoted husband of Trisa (nee Chiodo) for 42 years. Adored father of Rosalind Robinson (John Ross) and Jennifer Tomlin (Brad). Proud Nonno of Dylan, Rhys, Liam and Hayden. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Rosina Villella. Dear brother of Rosetta Danti (Mimmo), Giuseppe (Sara), Chiarina Tedesco (Frank), Biagio (Rita), Padre Marcellino and Serafino (Anna). Brother-in-law of Angela Rosa Boccarossa (Donato), the late Felicetta Zanella (Elio), Felice Chiodo (Daniela) and Dino Chiodo (Deborah). He will be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Antonio’s life was marked by his love for cooking and the everlasting devotion to his family. In his free time, he loved to be alongside his grandson’s in the garden & building endless inventions with his little Amore’s. He wanted nothing more than to ensure everyone had food on the table, wine in their glass and a great story to share. He was truly the most gentle man to all who knew him and will forever be in our hearts. Antonio was a member of the Caboto Club for over 42 years.

A special thank you to the Diabetes Wellness Centre, WRH Cancer Centre, Hospice of Windsor, CCAC, and the numerous doctors and nurses for their compassion and care. If you so desire, donations to the Windsor & Essex Cancer Foundation or the Diabetes Wellness Centre would be appreciated by the family.
