Obituary for Alaina Evelyn Marie Zvric
34 years young, suddenly on April 3, 2021. Beloved life-partner of Mike Gollmer. Devoted and cherished mother of Harper (her best friend). Alaina loved Mike’s daughter Lily, as one of her own. Much loved daughter of Greg & Nancy. Special sister of Kali (Chris) Sak, Casey (Matthew) Balmer, Adam and Matthew. Dear aunt of Noah, Luke, Sebastian Sak and Jack, Oliver, and Charlie Balmer. Dearly loved by Mike’s parents; Jane and Ray Gollmer and his sisters Bonnie (Bill) Porteous and Cathi (Terry) Thom and their children Larissa, Michaela Porteous and Madelyn Thom.
We are comforted knowing that with Alaina’s faith, she is with Her Lord and Saviour, and that we will be re-united with her one day.
Alaina leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness and compassion. She worked for Sterling Ridge where she earned so much respect from her colleagues. Her free spirit, infectious laugh, and loving heart will be cherished forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund for her daughter Harper would be appreciated by the family. Cheques left at the funeral home may be made payable to Gregory Zvric or etransfers may be made to harpertrustfund@outlook.com
Reservations must be made and masks must be worn for visiting Thursday 5 -7 pm and Friday 3-5 & 7-9 pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor 519-969-5841.
Due to COVD restrictions, a private family service will be held on Saturday. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
Alaina loved the verse Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” It was always with her.
