Obituary for Adino Aloisio

Adino passed away peacefully on November 3, 2018 at 88 years of age into the loving arms of his dear wife, the late Camille (2007). Devoted father of Santa & the late Nick Minardi, Claudio & Janice, Patricia & David Derby, Alain & Anthony. Cherished grandfather of Dianna (Paolo) Novelletto, Louisa (Robert) Sirizzotti, Jessica (Sean 2017) Faught, Kristie (Steve) Rubik, Andrea (Rob) Mancini, Vanessa (Jeremy) Rollins, Matthew (Stephanie) Aloisio, Tania (Arkie) Ogonowski, Daniel, Talia, Michael, Jenna. Proud great Nonno of Brianna, Alexiah, Lillianna, Anthony, Isabelle, Maya, Alivia, Adison, Nico, Ari, Mikaila, Sophia, Gabriella and Arlo. Father in law of Phyllis Aloisio & Margaret Gibb. Brother in law of Bernard & Mary Lou Forêt of France. Reunited in heaven with brother Alberto and Orsola, sister Flora and parents Antonio and Santina. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adino was born in Italy and met the love of his life in France. He later immigrated to Canada to build a new life for his family. Retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 years of service. Adino, well known for his mile high sponge cake, was an avid gardener, loved to dance and most of all he adored his family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Special thanks to Dr. Aoun and the nurses in the palliative care wing at Emara Complex Care for their compassion and support as well as Transition to Betterness for all they do for their patients and families.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Transition to Betterness or the Downtown Mission would be appreciated by the family.

Visitation Tuesday November 6, 2018 from 2 – 5 pm & 7 – 9 pm. Parish Prayers Tuesday 4 pm. On Wednesday, family and friends are invited to gather at Corpus Christi Church (1400 Cabana Rd. W) after 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow.
