Obituary for Agnese Elvira Cinat

Our dear mother and the heart of our family passed away on February 24th in her 90th year. With a dream of better tomorrows, she and her beloved husband Rino (Isidoro) (1993) courageously immigrated to Canada, raised a loving family and built a beautiful life. Cherished and devoted mother of Linda and Leo Saroli, Marisa and Al Bertoia, Mary-Lou and Chad Teno, and Sue and Ed Tremblay. Treasured nonna of Adrian, Anthony and Delilah, Tara and Tyler, Mark and Sarah, Alicia and Ben, Brandon, Matthew, Kiana, Evan (1998) and Christian. She was adored by her great-grandchildren Cameron, Max, Julian and Michael who brought her much joy and delight.

Our mom was born in Pescincanna, Italy to Giuseppe and Emilia Pellarin and is predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters, Bruna (Genio), Teresina (Giovanni), Angelo (Maria), Tersilia (Giovanni), Rita (Luigi), Tarcisio (Lia) and Pietro. Also predeceased by father-in-law and mother-in-law Lodovico and Antonia Cinat and sisters and brothers-in-law in Italy, USA and Canada. She is survived by sisters-in-law Mary Pellarin, Roberta Cinat and many nieces and nephews with whom she shared a mutual affection.

Our overwhelming pride and respect for the life she lived with formidable strength, courage, selflessness, perseverance and steadfast love will remain with us always. Her unwavering spirit and grace will carry us forward as we strive to live by her example.

In addition to the love of her family, her life was enriched by her passion for gardening (and sharing), sewing/mending for everyone, traveling, dancing, and gathering with those she held most dear.
Mom was a member of the Caboto Ladies Auxiliary and the Fogolar Furlan Club where she formed many friendships and made fond memories.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Paul Ziter for his dedication to her care and to the homecare team for their kindness and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an organization close to your heart.
