After a long and happy life dedicated to his family, Alan passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 88.
After a long and happy life dedicated to his family, Alan passed away on June 7, 2023 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Beverley for 63 years. Devoted dad of Curtis (Kelly), Tracey, and Paul. Proud grandpa of Curtis (Megan), Chris (Vanessa), William, Andrew, Corin (Freddy), Josh (Laura), Cassandra (Aaron) and Ryan. Great-grandpa of 9 great grandkids. Brother of 7, survived by sister Dorothy Teeter. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Alan was a volunteer firefighter in Essex, an avid gardener, lover of life and everyone’s best friend. Al had a sense of humor second to none. He will be dearly missed.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and family are welcome to an informal gathering at Families First Funeral Home (3260 Dougall Ave. 519-969-5841) on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 2 – 4 p.m.
Donations in memory of Alan may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County.
