Obituary for Albert "Bert" Michael Robinson
Passed away peacefully on November 2, 2020 at 88 years of age. Devoted husband of Phyllis (nee Gagnon) for 68 years. Loving father of Sharon Robinson, Allen (Sue), Tom (Terrie), Sandy Knight, Mike (Gaye) and Jim (Dawn). Proud papa of 13 grandchildren and pipi of 14 great grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Edna and Milford Robinson and siblings Harold (Monica), Grace, Benjamin, Bill (Barb) and Alan. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
He retired from General Motors after over 30 years of dedicated service. In Bert’s earlier years he enjoyed his baseball, bowling and golf. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and always put his family first. He gave all of us support, love and understanding. Our father was a private man but had a great sense of humour with everyone who knew him well. A special thank you to Dr. Morvay and the doctors and staff at WRH – Ouellette Campus for your care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
On Thursday November 5, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend a memorial visitation from 3 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm with family prayers at 8 pm at FAMILIES FIRST, 2130 Front Rd., LaSalle, (519) 969-5841. A private family interment to take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
