Passed away peacefully on March 12, 2023 at the age of 100. Reunited with his beloved wife of 74 years, Marjorie (2022). Cherished father to Barbara (the late James York), Kenneth (Kathryn) and Tom (Carol). Precious grandpa to Heather, Michelle, Laura, Kelly, Katie, Matthew, Andrew and Jonathan and their loving spouses. Alfred will also be missed by his fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Alfred worked for Chrysler Canada for 37 years and retired in 1977. He was an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan who hoped to live long enough to see them win the Stanley Cup. If you so desire, memorial donations to the Windsor Goodfellows would be appreciated by the family.
Visiting Wednesday, March 15th, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday March 16, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Celebration of Alfred’s life at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
