Obituary for Alice Claudette Artinian

ARTINIAN, Alice (nee Legendre)
November 17, 1935-September 18, 2023

Born in Verner, Ontario to parents Edouard and Marie-Anne Legendre. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our amazing, beautiful mother Alice. Predeceased by her loving husband Chris (2004). Proud mother to Karen (2016) and husband Mike Barrette, Sue and husband Steve Rutt and her son Chris. Most precious grandma to Jamie, Michael (Vanessa) and Sara. Mom will also be missed by her grandpups Winnie and Sid.

Alice was a ray of sunshine to her beloved family and friends and will be enormously missed. We will also miss her great sense of humor, her patience and her beautiful blue eyes. Alice was by far the best cook around, all homemade dishes and delicious pastries. Alice was a tireless, dedicated volunteer and member of the St. John’s Anglican Church.

Her closest friends were on the Alter Guild and part of the congregation. Thank you to Dr. Zahrebelny for the many years of care.

A heartfelt thank you to the caring, devoted and supportive staff at the Hospice of Windsor, Dr. Cargill, nurses Cathie and Sarah, PSW’s and close friends. Mom, you will be united once again with Dad and your beautiful daughter Karen.

Until we meet again Mom, we love and miss you every single passing day.

Cremation has taken place. The memorial visitation will take place on Monday, September 25, 2023 at St. John’s Anglican Church (3305 Sandwich St.) from 10am until time of Memorial Service at 11am. Interment will be private following the memorial service.
