Obituary for Alice Noble

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alice Noble (nee Pasma), who left us on March 27 surrounded by her loving family, at 86 years of age. Alice is predeceased by her brothers Thys (Meike), Harry ( Karin), Tom (Anna) and Chris (Elaine). Alice is survived by her loving sister Aukje Pasma, brother in law Paul (Moira) Noble and sister in law Irene (Don) Noble.
Alice will be forever loved and missed by her children Tim (Alison) Noble and Rhonda (Neil) Robinet, precious granddaughters Alex (Sheldon) Ducedre and Mackenzie (Jacob) Noble as well as her great grandchildren Aubrey, Leo and Riley.
Alice was born in Sneek, Holland to Hendrick and Minke Pasma and immigrated to Canada in 1952 with her family. Alice met and married the love of her life, Bill Noble, in 1960 and enjoyed 46 years of marriage until Bill's passing in 2006. Oma, as Alice was known to everyone, had many jobs, but her favorite was a childcare provider for the children of friends and family. Oma adored children, and delighted in being a part of their lives. Alice will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and many others whose lives she has touched.
Alice loved children, dogs (Tuffy, Mitzie, Cindy, Pal and Anni) and her family.
Very special thanks to the McPhee family and Nicee Meloche, who were incredibly supportive and helpful supporting Oma. Finally, thank you to the compassionate health care staff on 5N of Metropolitan Hospital and the caring, wonderful team at Huron Lodge.
A private family service will be held.
