Peacefully at home on July 5, 2019 at 76 years of age. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Nantais). Loving step father of Christopher Raymond (Maki) Burdge and Dennis Dale (Kelly) Burdge. Allan cherished the special relationship he had with grandchildren Hana and Noah, and niece Patricia Mamone. Dear brother of Charlene (Augustus) Miller, brother-in-law to Raymond Nantais (Sherrie), Roberta Mamone (Mark). He will be sadly missed by many cousins, dear friends and his faithful companion Amber. Allan was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Huron College. He enjoyed 30 years of teaching at Courtice Secondary School. Allan was an avid skier and enjoyed years of travel. If you so desire, donations to the St Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Essex County Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
Cremation service was held. A Memorial Service to be held in Allan’s memory on Thursday, July 11 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church (129 Simcoe) at 11am. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Families First 585 Sandwich St. South Amherstburg (519-969-5841).
