Obituary for Amulio Norman Boratto

After a long and “fantastic” life dedicated to his family, Amulio passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on October 14, 2022 at 89 years of age. Cherished husband of Marilla (nee Stocco) for 64 years. Devoted father of Vanessa Ryan (Chris), Dana Drayton (Dan) and Christopher Boratto (Tara). Proud Nonno of Taylor (Amanda), Olivia (Jeremy), Jake, Troy, Tori, Bradley and Aubrey. Dear brother of Grazia (the late Attilio Fantin), Angelina (Luciano Fabris), Mariella (Vittorio Beghetto) and predeceased by sisters Livia (the late Luigi Mazzonetto), Grace and Angela.

He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and Caboto Club for over fifty years and most recently enjoyed the new friends he made at the Windsor Sportsmen’s Club. Amulio was a proud, hardworking man who valued his family and friends above all.

In lieu of flowers and if you so desire, donations to Most Precious Blood Church-St. Vincent de Paul to support the less fortunate would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 19th, 2022 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm at Families First Funeral Home, 519-969-5841 (3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor). On Thursday, October 20th, 2022, family and friends are invited to meet directly to Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Road) for a 10am Funeral Mass to celebrate Amulio’s life. Procession to Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow. Share memories and photos at www.FamiliesFirst.ca

As he would often say, “See you soon Lilly” and “All the best”.
