I have had the pleasure of knowing the Alexander family for over 50 years. I first met Ann at a game Alex (John) and I were playing in, more than 50 years ago. Since then, it is impossible to count the number of times I have seen Ann at a sporting event of her family. Alex and Karen had a daughter the same year I did. They played on different little league teams each summer. But one thing became quickly apparent, if we played Lauren's team, I would see Ann. Ann had a grandson, 1 year younger than my son. They played on the same teams every other year. And yes, I saw Ann at every game. I was also fortunate enough to be at many dinners at Alex's home, along with Ann. The love she had her family was extremely evident. And the bounce back love for Gram was even more so. Ann was a role model as a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a teacher. It is so true that all people die, but not all people leave. Ann remains with her dear family and all of us who were privileged to know her. From

Please know you are in my thoughts at your time of loss. I am so sorry to learn of your Mother's death. My memories go as far back as High School days, dating , weddings and starting our families. Ann and I went to Mothercraft Classes together when we were expecting our first babies. Jeanne and my Dave were born 13 days apart. We had a long, long friendship. I wish my health would allow me to hop in the car and be present at your Mother's service; however, rest assured, I will be there in spirit. It would be a delight for me to meet Ann's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sincerest Sympathy, Vera MortimerFrom
