Obituary for Anne St. Pierre

On Wednesday, September 2, Anne St. Pierre, wife, mother, Nana, sister and daughter (Duncan and Charlotte MacDougall) and devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish family passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare at 84 years of age. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, (James) Barry, and their children and spouses, Barry and Audrey, Mike, Paul and Rose, and John-Marc. She is joining her beloved daughter, Laurie (1996). She is fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Olivia, Evan, Noelle, Duncan and Noah. Dear sister of Donald MacDougall (2019) and Anita. She was a beloved sister-in-law of Neil (2006) and Rose, Sheila (2003) and Ed (2006), Richard and Valerie, Jim (2020) and Heather. She had many loving nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

Anne was born in Inverness, Nova Scotia. She graduated in Home Economics from St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova, Scotia. She headed to Vancouver to work, and later moved to Windsor to continue her practice in Dietetics. She and Barry shared a love of family, church and travel. She was a proud Cape Bretoner.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

On Friday September 4, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 3 – 5 pm and 7 – 9 pm with Parish Prayers at 4:30pm at Families First, South Windsor. On Saturday September 5, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (4401 Mount Royal Dr.) at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
