To the entire family I send my deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of knowing Annette through our shared years at Monarch Secondary. A former student who runs the Monarch Facebook page shared her obituary yesterday. Many students have reflected on her wonderful smile whether your behaviour was good or bad. I was a teacher during those years and spent lots of time enjoying Anette’s company and her wonderful baking, especially baklava. I’m so pleased she has had such a wonderful long and fulfilling life. May she now Rest In Peace.

Dear Donna and Mike, Dear Donna and Mike, Julie and I want you to know we share your grief of a remarkable mother and mother-in-law you have lost. Kuma Annette was truly a wonderful, giving and loving humanitarian. I have known and respected her and the late Milan all of my life. My Mom and Dad always said that they were good people and over the years that has proven to be oh so true! Moreover, we have always enjoyed the company of this kind and learned woman … not to mention the delicacies she generously shared. Annette leaves behind a legacy of goodwill and love for which the Ivosevich will be forever proud. Love, Sam and Julie Dragich

Our deepest sympathy, Mike and Dana, Justin and Ally, and to all of your family members on the loss of your "Baba". Having experienced that same loss ourselves, we understand the pain that you are feeling and can only say that we share it with you. She was a lovely lady; her life was long and well-lived and now she is having a well-deserved rest, no longer in any pain or the frustration that comes with the loss of independence thrust upon her by aging and illness. You will mourn her loss, as you should, but our hope is that soon you will look back on the many happy memories that you have with her and smile once again.

My dearest mother-in-law, I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing you and sharing my life with you for almost half a century. It’s hard to believe I won’t greet you again each morning at breakfast. I have to say we are so blessed to have had you so near to us these last 6 years. When you agreed to come to live with us I remember how we tried so hard to make our renovations adapt to all your wishes and it gave us so much pleasure that we able to do this for you. These last 6 yrs have been amazing ,funny at times, and memory making for me and my family. I have a little secret that I want to share with you. When I was a young child growing up I never knew my grandparents, or any relatives for that matter. And I always felt cheated because all my friends had them. I remember thinking that if I ever had any children I would never let them have the lonely feeling I had growing up without relatives. Well, lucky for me, I met Dana and WOW did I hit the Jackpot. Not only did I get a gigantic extended family but at the top was an amazing mother-in-law. One so nice and giving, I couldn’t even make any mother-in-law jokes. I was blessed the first time I met you. So thank you so much for making my family so rich by being in our lives. We will miss you forever and love you for always. Love you mom, to the moon and back.

To the Family of Annette Ivosevich, My mother, Helen Hladki, was the parish secretary at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church for many years. She often spoke of the wonderful woman that Annette was. Annette was very kind to me and to my family when our mother passed away in 2008 and the kindness she showed to us and to our mother will not be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
