It is with broken hearts that the family of Antonino Calcara announce his sudden and unexpected passing on January 31, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 57 years to Antonina (nee Fregapane). Much loved father to Carmelo (Lynda), Domenica Sansotta (Rocco), Angelo, Pierina Calcara (Will) and Anna Calcara-Ashley (Tim). Cherished and adored nonno to Attilio, Roberto (Lauren), Micheal (Haley), Antonino (Evon), Adam, Justin (Brynna), Bianca, Nico and Maro. Antonino was blessed to have met and loved his great grandson Clark. Antonino will be missed by family in Windsor, Montreal, and Italy, and by his friends from Gennaro’s Café.

Antonino was a hard-working man who loved his family, his garden, bingo, and his Caboto Club Bocce Team. Antonino’s family would like to thank those who sympathized with them over the loss of a loving and well loved, wonderful man.

Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held for family with a Mass in Celebration of Antonino’s Life to be scheduled at a later date. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
