Obituary for Antonio Cervi

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on November 5, 2019 at 94 years of age. Cherished husband of the late Maria (2016) for 67 years. Loving father of Mario (Trish), Angela Hanson (John Billington), Anne (Gerry) Dube, Elena (Frank) Piccolo and Anthony (Sara). Treasured Nonno of Chris (Sondra), Michael (Kristin), David, Jason (Sue), Nadia (Michael), Danielle, Lauren, Anthony, Eric, Marisa and bis nonno of Jax, Scarlett, Macy, Kinley, Gemma, Vienna, Annebelle and Charlie . Reunited with his parents Enrico and Arcangela Cervi. Dear brother of the late Francesco (the late Carmela), the late Laura (the late Domenico), the late Armando (the late Letizia), the late Giussepe (Ersilia) and Maria (the late Benedetto). He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Our father, was born in San Pietro, Frosinone, Italy on December 16, 1924 and immigrated to Canada in 1954 after living through the Second World War and serving as a Carabinieri. He established himself with a career in construction firstly in Toronto with his brother and then settling in Windsor bringing over his wife and children from Italy. His passions were love of family, hunting, gardening, great food, great wine and enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tony was one of the founding member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor.
