Obituary for April Irene Turner

April Irene Turner passed away suddenly in the early morning hours of September 3rd 2022 in Windsor, Ontario. She was ready to find peace after a long battle braved in silence. She is reunited in heaven with her mother Margaret, Her sweet baby girl, Aunt Helen, Sisters Mary, Corinne & Deanne, among many other beloved family members.

A notoriously strong-willed, quick-witted, fearless woman, she was equally humble, selfless, and unapologetically genuine in living & speaking her truth throughout her life. A heart of gold spread the riches of her warmth to everyone she loved, while being adament in avoiding compliments or the spotlight she more than deserved - but never needed it to shine. She was more than happy to let the sun embrace everyone else, more than happy to help, sacrifice, & give, but passed on her turn to receive. Her natural beauty ran deep; radiating from the inside out from the depths of her soul to that sparkle in her eyes, smile on her face, and a laugh that lit up the room. Her incredible intuition and fearlessness undoubtedly led her to following some of the most prominent paths in her life. From giving a hopeless romantic (& her true love) Joe, a chance all those years ago; to the journey of motherhood with three amazing boys and one angel baby girl whom by extension, gave her four beautiful grandchildren that were her pride & joy. She lived with integrity, intent, and without regret. April was many things to many people, but oftentimes found herself crowned the peacekeeper of our family, and she loved us fiercely. She was our queen; our rock solid foundation of powerful silent strength, and our guiding light when we needed it (and even when we didn't) most. Whatever she was to you: daughter, wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin, friend; she was truly something special. Her one-of-a-kind beautiful, fiesty, kind-hearted spirit will be missed desperately by all who loved her.

April is the precious daughter of the late Margaret Rylett, and beloved wife of Joe Browning. Devoted mother to Justin (Amber), Austin, Kendal, and her sweet angel baby girl. Cherished grandmother of Austin Jr (12), Lola (11), Justin Jr (8), Journey (6). Beautiful sister to Eugene Turner (Mary),
Margo Handsor (Phillip), Richard Turner, Joseph Turner, Julie Turner, Corrine Dawson (Darryl), Gaye Robinson (Mike).

April will be deeply missed by her best friend & lifelong confidant Tracey Sims (& family), nieces, nephews & families; Phillip Handsor (Amy) & family, Tanya Maynard (Kevin) & family, Chad Handsor (Tracy) & family, Renee Pallero (Jimmy) & family, James Turner (Jen) & family, Barbara Turner & family, Rikiye Turner (Mehmet) & family, Jo-Lynne Beverly (John) & family, Christie Park (Moses), Terence Turner & family, Precious Turner & family, Megan Martin (Claire), Suzanne Browning & family, Jason Browning (Barbara) & family, Krystal Levy (David) & family, Shireen Anderson & family, Simone Washington & family, Kyle Robinson, Kayla Pugh & family, Krista Williamson (Kyle) & family. Additionally, many more cousins, extended family, & friends will carry her memory in their hearts.
