I never met Arnold in person. We only knew each other from email and telephone conversations resulting from me trying to connect with CTV Windsor to report some signal issues I was experiencing with CTV2 on my antenna in the county. Lucky for me Arnold responded to my plea for help. He was quick to analyze and diagnose and resolve the situation. He gave me his personal contact info and suggested I reach out to him if I ever had reception issues again. Over about a dozen years I reached out to him when ever I had issues and he was always quick to respond and as recently as just a few months ago. I think he appreciated the fact that I was picking up the signal from an old fashion antenna as opposed to cable or satellite which are marginal where I live. He shared his interest in old technology with me. I shared the fact that I once worked at 1149 Goyeau as well. My condolences to Arnold's family, friends and work mates. Although I didn't know him well I appreciated him and will miss him.
Sincerely
Greg Skinner

Arnold you left too early. I will miss coffee with you on Sundays, the stuff we talked about and your sage advice on many things technical and otherwise. Intensely private but you were always willing to help whatever was needed. There was a much loved mischievous streak there as well. After you reprogrammed Clayton's phone nobody dared leave their phones unattended near you. I still remember that smile and chuckle as you told the story. Wish we had been graced with more time, would have loved to hear more. Love, hugs and condolences to your family. Rest in peace my friend.
