MONAGHAN, Arnolda “Dodie”
We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom, grandma and great-grandma on October 19, 2023 at the tender age of 101. Reunited with beloved husband Tom (1997), sons Dennis (2021), Steve (2014) survived by Nancy, Matthew (2018) & daughter-in-law Angie (2018) and daughter Martha Dobson (2010), survived by Rob Dobson. Most cherished mom to Tim (Susan), Mary-Claire Gyurindak (late Steve) and Lorna Mailloux (Paul). Proud Grandma to Sarah (Rick), Neil, Emily (Patrick), Glen (Hyo-Min), William (Devon), Laura (Justin), Michael (Danielle), Brian, Maggie, Tom (Chloe), Liz (Charlie) and Lily. Adored Greatest - Grandma to Ella, Lola, Oliver, Kaliegha, James, Parker, Natalie, George, Hayden and Rowan. Dodie’s love of life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-children. No matter her age, she loved holding all her babies. In her younger years she loved the outdoors and keeping active; camping, curling, golfing, swimming and making lifelong memories at her house with neighbours on Esdras Place. Special thank you to the dedicated team at Aspen Lake – Walkerville Neighbourhood for all their love, compassion, dedication and laughs shown to our mom – you know who you are. If you so desire, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2023 – place and time to be determined and will be noted on Lorna’s Facebook page.
