Obituary for Arthur "Archie" Cecile

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 5, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of Delores (2016), with whom he celebrated 65 wonderful years of marriage. Cherished father of Greg (Jean Anne), Lynn, John (Jody), Elizabeth Pagliaroli (Dante), Debbie Dundas (Gerry), Danny (1963), Tom (Annette), Angie, and Matt (Karen). Proud “Gramps" of Jodi, Cory, Sarah, Rachel, Julia, Nathan, Samantha, Chelsie, Emily, Luke, Katie, Kevin, Laura, Daniel, Alice, Benjamin and great “Gramps" to Malcolm, Olivia, Eleanor and Addison. Dear step-”Gramps" to Laine, Blake, Anna, Dana, Owen, Reid, Rowan and Bronwyn. Loving brother of Geraldine Saby. Archie will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was a member of the St. John Vianney choir for many years. Archie (“Spider”) was well known for his pitching prowess with the Tecumseh Green Giants and work in founding Riverside Minor Baseball.

Visitation will be held at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd., East Windsor, on Monday October 7, 2019 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers at 4:30 pm. Family and friends are welcome to gather at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St.) on Tuesday October 8, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.
