Suddenly and peacefully on July 25, 2019 at the age of 93. Reunited with husband Lloyd (2011). Amazing mother to Don & Trudy Abrash, Carol & Jim Carr, Barb Landgraff & Brian Garland, David & Sherry Freeman. Proud Grandma to Jenn (Justin) Wilson, Sarah (R.J.) Marchant, Michael (Lori) Streda, Rob (Heidi) Fry, Jamie (Farrah) Fry, Brian (Ariane) Fry, Heather Fry, Shaun Carr, Dillon (Carly) Freeman, Shane (Samantha) Freeman and dear Great-Grandmother to 11. Aunt Avis will be missed and remembered by her three special nieces, sister-in-law Doris, brothers-in-law Gord (Gloria) Freeman, and Roy Freeman and their families. Avis was a dedicated employee of Hiram Walker for over 30 years and she will be forever remembered as a “Dancing Queen” and a talented figure skater. Special thank you to Seasons Royal Oak Village and Huron Lodge for their care and compassion.
