Obituary for Barbara Mary Cahill
Passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Loving wife of Daniel for 60 years. Cherished mother of Clarissa Wheeler (the late Rick), Carol Charles, Clarence King, Mark Ilijow, Carol Anne Powell (Tony), Andre Cahill (Trena). She will be missed by a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her parents Hilda & Wilfred Duchene, her sister Carol and her brother Jimmy Duchene. Survived by her sister Joyce.
Barbara had a gift for story-telling, she counselled and mentored many people over the years, and advocated for mental health and well-being. She was steadfast and authentic about whom she was and how she wanted to serve her family and community. Together, Barbara and Daniel fostered many children over the years.

Visiting on Thursday October 5, 2023 from 3-5pm & 7-9pm with parish prayers at 4:30pm at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
On Friday October 6, 2023, visiting will resume at St. John Vianney Church (385 Dieppe St., Windsor) from 9:30am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
