Dearest Lapierre family
No words can express how sad it was to hear of Barbara s passing,
There are not many people in this world as kind and special as Barbara
it was always a please to say hello to her when I seen her at work.
Your Mom had a smile that would brighten up a room when she was present.
God Bless you Barbara, my thoughts and prayers to all.

I would always cash out in Barb's lane at Freshco, even if her line was longer. When my son was born, I made sure to bring him to Freshco when she was working so that she could meet him. She was so kind and caring that I looked forward to grocery shopping just so I could chat with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My heart aches for Lloyd and his family. Barb has always been that smiling and encouraging neighbour that I see on my walks. She has seen my kids grow up and the last time I saw her, my daughter had just learned to ride her bike. I marvelled at how she could always remember my name. My deepest condolences to Lloyd and family.

Sometimes in our life, we meet sweet, genuine and just nice people like Barb. I started conversations with her at Freshco and on my summer walks by their house. Always met with smiles. I didn’t know her well but there is one less sparkle on Watson Street now. My sincere condolences to the Laporte family.
