Passed away quietly in her sleep on April 16, 2021 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her husband Ronald Matthew and her longtime companion Pat Redmond. Loving mother of Todd Matthew (Linda) and Deborah Ann Matthew. Dearest Nana of Trevor Dean, the late Ashley Dean (2020) and great-nana of Lucis Dean-Matthew, Lila Dean and Lilith Dean. Daughter of the late James and Irene Lowe. Survived by her sister Ruth Dunn. Special thank you to Ernest Matte for his exceptional devotion to Barbara’s care, allowing her to remain at her home with his assistance. Will be sadly missed by her dogs, Muffin and Lucky.

Barbara enjoyed working for IGA in Riverside for many years. She kept herself busy with word search and crosswords, reading and puzzles, and her bi-monthly trips to Bingo.

Cremation services entrusted to Families First. A private burial will be held at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
