Obituary for Barbara Walters (Rosenzweig)
Peacefully with family at her side at 100 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Karl Walters (2007). Loving mother of Marilyn Cadotte (Lou Gagnon) and Elaine Fox (John). Cherished grandma of Dr. Cheryl Cadotte-Szabo (Robert), Mark Cadotte (Dr. Rena Citron), Michael Fox (Sarah) and Emily Fox. Treasured great-grandma “Grossi” to Alexander and Calvin Szabo; Isabella and Nash Citron-Cadotte; and Ellison Fox. Also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a caring, loving, strong, independent woman and truly the pillar of the Walters family.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Village of Aspen Lakes-Belle River Neighbourhood, for their compassionate care.
If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Friday, February 26, 2021, 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Personal face coverings and reservations are required for visitation and funeral service.
Please note due to COVID 19 regulations attendance for cemetery services may be limited, interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow.
On Saturday, a livestream link of the funeral service will be available on Barbara’s online profile in real time.
