Obituary for Barry George Kovack

It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Barry Kovack, on June 28, 2021, at the age of 76. Beloved husband of 56 years to Caroline Kovack. Dear father of Chris (Kathy), Michelle and Sheri (Jaremy). Brother to Bill (Donna) and Lisa (Kyle). Loving Papa to Hailey (Daniel), Kolby, Abbey, Sunte, and EllieAnna. Great friend to his neighbours Bill and Cheryl and the volunteer group for the De Havilland Mosquito restoration project. Barry will forever be remembered by several nieces and nephews. For 30 years, Barry proudly served as a firefighter with the Windsor Fire Department. Following retirement, Barry filled every waking moment with family, tending to his infamous garden, fishing, turning beautiful wooden bowls on his lathe and volunteering at the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association. He will forever be remembered for his dedication to his family and his expert storytelling abilities that always gave everyone a good laugh. Always willing to step in to help someone in need, Barry will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.
