Obituary for Bernice Dufour
It is with sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mom in her 99th year of life on December 25, 2019 with her loving daughter by her side. Dear mother to Carolyn Berezan (John Hanrahan), Linda Mesetovic (Shaban), Geri Cale (Mike Barzo), Barb McLellan (Phil), and Thelma Maxwell; proud grandmother to Grant, Tanya, Angela, Todd, Scott, Derrick, and Matthew, great grandmother to 10 and great great grandmother to one. Reunited with her parents, brothers, and sisters.
She was a loving, kind, compassionate and generous woman and her joy came from serving and giving to others (love does). She led by example and volunteered for many organizations throughout her life. Thank you to the staff at Chartwell Royal Oak Long Term Care in Kingsville for loving and caring for mom for the past few years.
In kindness, donations may be made to The War Amps, Hospice, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held in SEPTEMBER 2021, date TBD.
