Obituary for Betty Edith Holdren

Betty Holdren (nee Marsh) passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Ken and Wife May, Vancouver, Kevin and wife Kata, Tecumseh, and Sharon and husband Doug Weinmann, New Jersey. Loving mother-in-law to Deborah O’Connor, Vancouver. Dearest grandmother of Ryan (Lauren), Karen (Justin), Gregory (Jessica), Melissa (Nir), Bethany, Brent (Sarah), Kyle (Sierra), and Kurt (Julianna).
Great grandmother of Taylor, Henley, Noah, Harper, Francis, Benjamin, Clayton, Hudson, Brooklyn, Delilah, Stevi.

Dear sister -in-law to Robert Holdren of Pennsylvania.
Betty leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.
Predeceased by her loving husband Earl, grandson Taylor, Brother Gordon and Sister Ruth.
Betty was a skillful cook, baker, seamstress and a gardener. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She made many beautiful dresses for her three granddaughters that are truly a family heirloom. For many years she was active in children’s outreach having an after school Bible Club and doing Girls Club at Grace and Truth Chapel, she also gave weeks in the summer as a cook at Beacon Bible Camp.
As an expression of sympathy and to honor Betty, memorial donation may be made to Beacon Bible Camp.

On Saturday April 13, 2024 visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 11 AM at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave, South Windsor.
