Betty Jean Conroy

Born in Stratford, Ontario on December 6, 1926 the daughter of Morton E. Brown and Lily Russell. Passed away on December 4, 2019 at the age of 92. Married on May 10, 1945 to the late Stanley Gordon Conroy (deceased January 2010) her high school sweetheart of 64 years. Mother of the late Wayne Russell Conroy (2018) husband of Dianna Jean and daughter, Gail Elizabeth Conroy all of Windsor. She is survived by three grandchildren, Christine Amber Pudsey and husband Brian of Courtenay, British Columbia, Dale Gordon Sandison and Kris Edward Conroy both of Windsor, and predeceased by grandson, Phillip Russell Conroy (November 2003). Betty Jean had five great-grandchildren, Alexander, Morgan, Rory, River Jean and Kurtis.

As a young mother of two, Betty Jean began to study the bible and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Together Betty Jean and Stanley enjoyed years of faithful service to their God, Jehovah.

The family wishes to extend their warmest appreciation and thanks to the nurses and staff for the fine care given during the years at the Villages of St. Clair, (Harrow Neighbourhood).

There will be no funeral home visitation. A private family graveside service will be held.
