Betty’s new home is Heaven. She passed away peacefully with her granddaughter Pam and great granddaughter Katie by her side. She will be welcomed by many, especially her beloved husband Bill, daughter Gayle & grandsons Robbie & Chris. She leaves behind her devoted daughter Wendy (Lee) and granddaughter Pam (Joe) who provided unconditional love, support and care to Betty. She will be missed by granddaughter Tammy & Great grandchildren Katie (Dan) & William who loved their Nanna dearly. She is survived by daughter Patti (Bill) and their children. She is predeceased by parents Charles/Mabel King and siblings Violet, Eleanor and Ivor. Betty is also predeceased by the parents who raised her Florian/Kathleen Gurbin. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Shirley, Carol (Ben), Jo-Anne, Nancy (David), Gary (Diane) and Richard (Kathleen); Also by the McVitties, Mac (Monica), Pat, Olga, Maryanne, Wayne (Karen) and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

We want to thank the wonderful staff at La Chaumiere, Berkshire, and Royal Oak, for the care and compassion they provided while Betty battled Alzheimer’s.
