Obituary for Brian Douglas Dunlop
Born December 11, 1957 in Windsor, Ontario, passed away January 15, 2023 surround by his loving family.
Beloved father of Jeremy Dunlop (Kim) and Jason Dunlop (Dawna). Treasured Poppa to Alana, Jacob and Isabella. Brian was predeceased by his parents Watson (2008) and Phyllis (1993) (Cameron) Dunlop . He will be greatly missed by his brother W. John and wife Jeannine Dunlop and sister Katherine Dunlop Samson (Barry). Brian also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends spread across Canada and overseas
Brian retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years and from the Windsor Auxiliary Police Force as a Staff Sargent after 18years of service. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 255. Brian loved his music, reading about military history but most of all he loved his family and friends.
To honor Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date after which he will be taken to PEI to be interred with his parents where his families Canadian roots began.
The family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the medical and nursing staff at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus both the emergency and ICU units. A special thank you to his attending nurse Carie for the stellar care of Brian and all of his family. You are an exceptional nurse and have our deepest respect always.
