Obituary for Bruce Alexander Jamieson

Jamieson, Bruce Alexander, 75, of Windsor, Ontario, passed away February 7, 2024. Son of the late Nora (Haney) and Alexander Jamieson. He leaves to mourn brother Scot (& Norma Corbett), Calgary, sister Anne, Ottawa, niece Shakeela Holland, Windsor, great nephew and special sidekick Tristan Jamieson and his siblings Essence, Amirah and Lexton, Windsor, various cousins and many friends.

Bruce was a graphic artist at the International Joint Commission on the Great Lakes. He was a member of the congregation at Westminster United Church, Windsor, and sang in the choir. He was also a talented pianist and composer. He used to play and sing with the Rum Runners in Windsor. He sang in the Windsor Symphony Choir and was a longtime supportive member of the Windsor arts community and the Trees For Life group and other groups. Bruce was a bon vivant, companionable and humorous and an enjoyer of the good things of life.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Iler Lodge, in Essex for their wonderful care of Bruce, during his stay there.
