Obituary for Bruno Cusinato

After a brief and courageous battle with leukemia, Bruno passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at the age of 78. He was born September 1, 1933 in Riese, Treviso, Italy. Loving husband of Aldina Cusinato (Cocchetto). Beloved father of Belinda and Dan Borrelli, Cindy and Raffaele Ranieri and Michael Cusinato. Adored "nonno" of Jenna, Jordan (1994), Justin, Connor, Hannah and Camryn. Much loved son of the late Rodolfo and the late Valentina Cusinato. Dear son-in-law of the late Augusto and the late Augusta Cocchetto. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of the late Celestino and the late Agnese Cusinato of Italy, Maria and the late Gino Cian, Italo and Doris Cusinato, Elena and Angelo Brunato of Italy, the late Pietro and Maria Teresa Cusinato, Gino Cusinato and Marlene, Ettore and Manuela Cusinato of Italy, Rita and Gaetano DiPonio and Olga and Luciano Todesco. Beloved brother-in-law of the late Clara and the late Giuseppe Marcon and Carla Marcon, the late Bruno and Lia Cocchetto, Luigi and Delini Cocchetto, the late Giuseppe and Ida Cocchetto, Giancarlo and Eleanor Cocchetto, Franco and Luciana Cocchetto, Mirella and Nello Modolo and Loredana and John Naccarato. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bruno was a proud member of the Giovanni Caboto Club, Associazione Veneti, and Trevisani Nel Mondo. Visiting Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. leaving Families First 3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841 to St. Angela Merici church for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Transition to Betterness as they made Bruno's room our home for the last month of his life. Heartfelt thanks to his guardian angels on 4th floor Oncology WRH. Bruno valued time spent with his family more than anything else and gave of his time freely, especially to his grandchildren. As "Sergeant at Arms"
