Obituary for Camillo Di Giorgio

On April 2, 2021, at the age of 86, Camillo was called home. Beloved husband of Antonietta for 61 years. Much loved father of Mena Sorge (Tony) and Joe DiGiorgio. Cherished Nonno of John Anthony (Neda), Laura (Joseph), Victoria (Andrew), Nico and Alyssa. Dear brother of Angela Vitarelli (Donato), Irena Colella (the late Mainardo), Concetta Pezzutti (the late Orlando), Francesca Mandato (Nick), and Giovanna DiGiorgio. Dear cousin of Irena Di Iorio (Pino) and Alex Silvestro. Camillo will be forever remembered by many nieces and nephews.

He was a shoemaker for many years, and was fondly known by his community. He was an avid hunter and will be warmly remembered by his hunting group. Camillo enjoyed gardening, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family; his grandchildren even more. Camillo cherished lunch with his family every Sunday. His family will miss hearing their Nonno’s jokes and more so, watching him laugh at them himself.

If you so desire, donations to Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ontario Kidney Foundation or Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family.
