Obituary for Carol Hogan

Carol passed away peacefully in the loving presence of her family on March 9, 2023. Devoted wife to Ken for 31 beautiful years. Cherished mother to Michael Stamcoff (Susan), Lori Clayton (Steven) and David Stamcoff (Yvonne). Proudest Nana to Jennifer, Marshall, Jason (Daniela), Danielle, Breanna, Joey and Great-Nana to Harrison, Madylynn, Madison and Henri. Beloved daughter to Olive and the late William Taylor (2007) and daughter-in-law to the late Leo and Phoebe Hogan. Dear sister and best friend to Judy Marsh and sister-in-law to Dan (Pat) Hogan, Barb (Gary) Hayes, Tom (Marcia) Hogan and Bob (Lucy) Hogan. Aunt Carol will be missed by Chris Neely (Claudene Shaver) and many other nieces and nephews.

Special thank you to the Villages of St. Clair – Schlegel Villages for their care and compassion shown to Carol. Carol enjoyed spending her time knitting, attending craft shows and proudly displaying her creations. She will be remembered for her positive, upbeat energy which livened up the room and those around her. Carol was a dedicated employee of the Windsor Police Services as a courtesy driver where she shared many laughs with her good friend Bev. She enjoyed spending her time travelling with Ken, shopping and trying her hand at the casino.

Visiting Monday March 13, 2023 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday March 14, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Families First 1065 Lauzon Rd. with procession to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
