Passed away peacefully on December 21, 2018 at the age 79 years. Adored wife of Stuart for 52 years. Loving mother of Greg Mills and wife Lynn, and Susan Cook. Proud nana of Jamee Cook, Jordan Cook, Adam Mills, and Kiera Pask. Dear sister of Sandy Baxter and husband John. Reunited with her late parents George and Jean Houston, and sisters Brenda Houston, and Judy Lewis. Sister in law of Alan and Mavis Mills, James and Carmelle Mills, the late Donald (2017) and surviving wife Susan Mills. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Pat Fields and Barb Thompson. She was a passionate gardener and quilter. Her true love and devotion was to her grandchildren. Carol’s door was always open to family and there was always room at the table for friends.
