Obituary for Charles William Michael Hesman

HESMAN, Charles William Michael

October 3, 1932 – December 19, 2019

It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing and the honouring of the enriched and blessed life of our deeply cherished Dad and Pip in celebration of 87 years. He was surrounded by the loving arms of his family. Reunited with his beloved, adored and admired wife of 61 years, Cécile (née Guilbeault - Feb. 2015). Tenderness and sweet love will bloom forever between her and “Chuckles.” Dear son to the late Charles Nelson & Sarah (née Shelley). Dedicated and devout father to Lana Armstrong & Mark Renaud and Renée & Michael Montague. Proud, thoughtful and caring Pip to Ian Armstrong; Craig (Leslie), Kim; Shawn, Elizabeth, Lauren Montague and great-grandfather to Claire and Lincoln. Endearing and respected brother to late Ruth Hesman, late Sarah (Don) Wrigley, late Marjorie (late Rev. Gerald) Beaumont, Ron (late Sheila) Hesman, Priscilla (Ray) Faulkner, Ken (late Gail) Hesman and Deanna (late Oscar) Horvath. Loving and adored brother-in-law to Helen (late Thomas) Fontaine, Sarah, Stacey and Dorie (née Guilbeault) and loving uncle to many nephews and nieces. Special thank you to his niece Devon for her care shown to our father, to his special caregivers Daniel, Nicole, Nancy, Leda and to Diemer for his attentiveness. Charles was a retired supervisor with Hiram Walkers for over 30 years where he cultivated many friendships and was well respected. Along with his role as a dedicated 4th Degree Knight, Charles was a devout parishioner of Our Lady of the Atonement as a choir member and usher for many years. If you so desire, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
