Cheryl Ann Renaud

It is with heavy hearts that the Renaud family announces the passing of Cheryl Ann Renaud (nee Baxter) on August 8, 2020, at the age of 68. Loving wife and best friend of Philip for 45 years. Dearest mom of Stacey Ukrainec and husband Chris, Holly Gaothusi and husband Wabuya. Cherished grandmother of Kennith (2006), Amber and Megan Ukrainec, and Blake Gaothusi. Survived by her mother Betty Baxter (the late Lyle Russell, 2008). Dear sister of Judith St. Louis (the late David), Wendy Matte (the late Charles) and the late John (1971). Dear daughter-in-law of Theresa Renaud (the late Maurice, 2000). Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cheryl was always full of kindness, and had an infectious laugh. It is her strength and positivity that made her an incredible inspiration along her journey. Many thanks to Dr. Jarrar, Kit McCann and Dr. Kanjeekal of the Windsor Cancer Clinic and all the wonderful health care staff throughout Cheryl’s journey.

If you so desire, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Mark Preece Family House would be appreciated by the family.

So sorry to have to say goodbye so soon. Our hearts ache but we take comfort in knowing you are now resting comfortably up above. It is with deep regret that we cannot attend the farewell but know that we are there in spirit.

It is with heavy heart we say goodbye to Cheryl. A wonderful sister-in-law to Paul & Fran, and aunt to Danielle, Victor, Nicholas & Evalyn and Kristen and Jimmy.
We shared many wonderful memories over the years. Cheryl always greeted us with her warm hello and big friendly smile. She brought great cheer to us all at family gatherings. She was sweet & caring and proudly devoted herself to her family.
She courageously braved poor health over the years and never uttered a word of complaint. How brave she was,
RIP dear Cheryl.
