The first time I met Cheryl, I “fell in love” with her, as a friend. Every time I visited Windsor, over the years she remained a close friend. I so looked forward to our hugs, chats , visits and her wonderful annual Christmas Day brunch with her family, was always a highlight. I know I can’t be there with you, Jean, Stewart and family but I send my condolences to you. Not to have her here is a great loss to all that knew her. I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She certainly has left an impression on all those she has met throughout her life. I had the pleasure of working with her at the CBSA. I will never forget her laughter, her kindness, her generosity and yes, as so many have mentioned, her sense of humour. Her "joie de vivre" was undeniable. Cheryl was one of the kindness, most loving, true, sincere and humorous of my friends. When I first moved onto Kildare it was springtime and we were both weeding the alley, Cheryl approach me and was going to welcome me to the neighborhood. As she got closer she recognized as a friend of Brent & Tom. "Hey I know you she exclaimed". I think we spent about 2 hrs. yacking in the alley. ( can't remember if the weeds got done but we had a great time.) Just one of the many ways Cheryl reached out to others and surrounded them with her love.
