The first time I met Cheryl, I “fell in love” with her, as a friend.
Every time I visited Windsor, over the years she remained a close friend.
I so looked forward to our hugs, chats , visits and her wonderful annual Christmas Day brunch with her family, was always a highlight.
I know I can’t be there with you, Jean, Stewart and family but I send my condolences to you.
Not to have her here is a great loss to all that knew her.
I hope and pray that Cheryl is in a better place. That her soul is in heaven...and that she will be well looked after there.
Sincerely
Ed Beniston (Newmarket )

I am so sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She certainly has left an impression on all those she has met throughout her life. I had the pleasure of working with her at the CBSA. I will never forget her laughter, her kindness, her generosity and yes, as so many have mentioned, her sense of humour. Her "joie de vivre" was undeniable. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. Heaven holds near our dearly departed. Cheryl is truly an angel. From

Dear Jean, dear Stewart and Guy,
It seems like yesterday that we all lived on Askin Blvd and attended the Labour Day Picknick every year! We are so sorry to hear about your loss of Cheryl--she was a constant when we moved to Askin in the late 1970s, as were the rest of your family. It was good to have such good neighbours, and Askin is still a street of good neighbours, but we miss those who moved.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time. We'll make a donation to Meals on Wheels, such an important service especially at this time of staying at home!
Love, Kai and SusanFrom

Dear Mrs. Tuite & family,
I was very saddened to read about Cheryl. She was my best friend as a child living on University Ave. When the family moved to Askin Cheryl and I felt it was on the other side of the world. Mrs. Tuite you always called me "Em". I had a message from Cherly a year ago when I lost my mom. I never knew that she was ill. I'm keeping you, Stewart and Phyllis in my prayers and sending you hugs.

We are the Diemer kids from across the road at Ada's house. We remember all of you so well; such fun growing up there. I had the amazing good luck to visit a friend at Windsor Western who happened to be roomed with Cheryl! Imagine her and my surprise. So glad to have met her again before she left - she was such a fun-loving person, even in her pain. Our sincere sympathy to each one of you.

To all the Tuite Family, her Pt. Pelee Family as well as her Chilver Road Family I wish to offer my most Heartfelt and sincere condolences. Cheryl was one of the kindness, most loving, true, sincere and humorous of my friends. When I first moved onto Kildare it was springtime and we were both weeding the alley, Cheryl approach me and was going to welcome me to the neighborhood. As she got closer she recognized as a friend of Brent & Tom. "Hey I know you she exclaimed". I think we spent about 2 hrs. yacking in the alley. ( can't remember if the weeds got done but we had a great time.) Just one of the many ways Cheryl reached out to others and surrounded them with her love. She will be missed by all that experienced her. (and share the chocolate covered raisins)
In my heart forever!!!! And thank you for your support during my cancer journey.
