Christina "Chris" Power (née Marentette)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Chris on May 8, 2020 at 78 years of age.
Beloved wife and best friend of 57 years to Robert. Cherished mother of Timothy Power, James Power (Cathy), and Steven Power. Adored grandma of Erin, Brendon and Lauren. Loving sister of Rita† (Clarence), Dorothy† Dupuis, Mae† (John† “Bud” Ketelhut), Joe (Gloria†), Theresa (Al Ducharme), Jane (William “Bill”† Wasyluk), Paul (Marion†), and Ted† (Sandra). Sister-in-law of Mike Power (Dina), Madeline† (Hank† Boulaine), Catherine† (Vincent† Lundy), and Marion† Boulaine. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Chris and Bob spent many happy times in Florida and at their summer home at Wildwood Golf and RV Resort.
If you so desire, donations to the A.L.S. Society of Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
Due to our current restrictions, a private family service will be held and a private graveside service will occur at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held at a later date.
