Obituary for Claire Ann Craig (nee Ryan)
Died peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on March 20, 2023 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by the love of her life Richard Nicol and son Ian Craig. Cherished Mother of Chris McCulloch, Peter Craig (Linda), Wayne Craig (Marlene), Scott Craig, and Malcolm Nicol (Kelly). Loving Nana of Kendall, Kaylee, Julie, Eric, Lora, Serena, Evan and two-great grandchildren. Dear sister of the late Garnet Ryan (Babs), and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by her canine companion Russell.
Claire was a graduate of Grace Hospital, Nursing Class of 1952. The last twenty-five years was happily spent at Huron Lodge. Claire loved spending time with friends and family, whether it be knitting hats at Knit-Wits or travelling all over the world. She was an avid reader, she loved puzzles and attending every Windsor Light Music Theatre show. Her greatest passions were curling and golfing with Dick and Thursday’s with Kaylee.

Visitation on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Rd. On Friday, March 24, 2023 family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Mark’s by the Lake Anglican Church, 150 St. Marks Rd, Tecumseh for funeral service at 11 a.m.
