Obituary for Clarence Parent

Clarence has been called home and is now resting in the arms of the Lord. He is welcomed by his parents Clara and Ernest Parent, brother Raymond and sister Janet (Alex) Langlois. His beloved wife Bernice, rejoices in the gift of having shared 73 wonderful years of married life, an incredible example of love and commitment for all who knew him. The most precious times in his life have been when surrounded by his loving family Ray (Margaret) Parent, Ron (late Wendy) Parent, Carol (Ian) McLeod, Elaine Boccioletti, Suzanne (Scott) Douglas, Wayne (Lilian) Parent. Nothing gave Dad more pleasure than to share special times with his fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. These special memories will ease our grief today and support us tomorrow. His sister Mary (late Russell) Chauvin has always been there to support and encourage Clarence, especially during the last few months of his life's journey. Over the course of his 96 years, Dad ran a successful grocery store, retiring in 1967, when he and Mom enjoyed travelling and camping especially with his sister-in-law, Velina (late Raymond) Renaud, friends and family. A very special thank you to the staff of Banwell Gardens, especially Brenda and Kim (A.K.A STINKY) who could always make dad smile. If you so desire memorial donations to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family. Visiting Wednesday 3-5, 7-9 p.m Parish prayers Wednesday 8 p.m. at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD.
