Peacefully on February 23, 2023, at the age of 72, with loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Linda for 53 years. Much loved father of Vicci (the late Richard, 2022), Bradley (Jen), Michelle and husband Emanuel, Susan (Jason), Chad and wife Danielle, and Kyle (Jessyca). Cherished Papa of 19 and “Other Papa” of 10. Dear brother of Gordon (the late Lynda), Regina (Dave), Nadine (Rick), Lorna, Frank, Archie, and predeceased by Patricia (Teddy), Ann (survived by Tom), Greg (survived by Kelly). Also predeceased by his parents Archie and Claudia Gauthier, and his in-laws, Clifford and Margaret Parent. Good friend of Ben Martin.

Claude was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Tigers, Tiger Woods. Most of all, his greatest love was his family. Claude enjoyed spending time on the boat fishing, with an ice cold Labatt’s Blue.

A private family service was held and cremation is to take place.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
