Obituary for Concetta Camarda (nee Pirello)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest mother, nonna, and biz-nonna. Passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Stefano Camarda. Dear mother of Fran Faroni (Walter). Dearest Nonna of Robert Faroni (Lea), Steven Faroni and Christina Holmes (Jesse). Loving Biz-Nonna of Mason and Ethan. Adored sister of the late Franca Ruvolo (the late Pietro), Pino Pirello (Anna Maria) and Rosamaria Maniscalchi (Rosario). Survived by her sister-in-law Fina Camarda. Dear daughter of the late Ignazio and Giuseppina Pirello. Cherished daughter-in-law of the late Francesca and Felice Camarda. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy, Switzerland and Germany.
A special thank you to the staff at Dolce Vita, Huron Lodge and the compassionate nurses and doctors at WRH – Met Campus 5th floor. Concetta loved kids and her grandchildren were her whole world. Visitation Sunday June 5, 2022 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor. On Monday June 6, 2022, visitation will resume at Corpus Christ Church (1400 Cabana Rd W.) from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
