Obituary for Corinne Yablans

Corinne rejoiced at reaching 70. She anticipated meeting her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 6, 2019, and she did. She had suffered a severe stroke. Corinne was a widow after burying her Messianic Jewish husband, Irving Yablans, in California. She then journeyed back to Canada in 2011 leaving behind many friends. Corinne is predeceased by parents Ray and Ruth Musgrave. Corinne loved family and all the gatherings with her siblings Cheryl (Bill), Ray, Linda (the late John), and Donna. She took great joy in all her nieces and nephews.

Corinne was a gifted writer starting with her high school paper, then used her talent for years in the Toronto area. She wrote and edited for Sound Magazine and interviewed many well known artists such as Eric Clapton and Rich Little the comedian. Corinne proudly outdid all her competitors across Canada contending for the free ticket to Expo 67! She enjoyed her win! Later we enjoyed her work on matters of the heart as in the beauty and blessing of forgiveness. Corinne knew how to laugh at her blunders. She was a delight and inspiration to press on and fight the good fight.

If so desired, donations to the Gideon Bible Society would be appreciated by the family. Visitation on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 10:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. Procession to Victoria Memorial Gardens to follow.
