Obituary for Daisy Valentine Brian (nee Black)
Our beloved Mum, Daisy Valentine Brian "nee Black", peacefully passed away on October 28th, 2023 at the age of 97, surrounded by her loving family. Dear wife of Harry Albert Brian (d. 2011), sister of Ben, Madeline and John, dedicated mother of Anne (Nick), Barb (Gene), Madeline, Edward (Heidi), Henry (d. 1961), David (Elizabeth), Martha (Erik), John (Ghae), and Colleen; cherished grandmother of 14, and proud great-grandmother of five.
Daisy embodied elegance and fashion. She was a lover of music, cards and a master at Scrabble. Mum found joy and connection in the company of her friends and family. Their love for travel took Daisy and Harry to places far and wide, and inspired their children to explore the world.
Our mother found comfort in her strong faith in God and the power of prayer.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Daisy's personal care givers, Connie and Melita, and Richmond Terrace (2 WEST) for their compassion and support.
May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love of her family and the cherished memories she created.
