Passed away peacefully on October 24, 2020 with his family by his side, at the age of 76 years. Loving husband to Caterina, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage. Adored father to Leonardo Stabile, Saverio (Molly) Stabile and Vincenza (Dan) Ferriolo. Cherished Nonno of Gabriella, Sabrina, Eliana and Mila. Predeceased by his parents Leonardo and Vincenza Stabile, his mother and father-in-law Saverio (Marta) Lombardo, his siblings Domenico and Sara, as well as his sister-in-law Antonina (Gaspare) Artale. Damiano is survived by his brothers, sister and many nieces and nephews in Italy and Switzerland. Also survived by his family in Windsor, Matteo (Maria) Asta, Vito Lombardo and many nieces and nephews.

On Thursday October 29, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend visitation from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. with parish prayers at 4:30 p.m. at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841. On Friday October 30, 2020 reservations and personal face coverings are required to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Angela Merici Church at 9:30 a.m. You can reserve your time for visitation, parish prayers or seat for Mass at FamiliesFirst.ca (RSVP) or by calling directly.
