Obituary for Darlene Anklewich (Moody)
On May 16, 2023 Jesus called Darlene home. Best mom in the world to Sherry (Pablo) Mena and Sonya (Sergio) Di Biase. Loving Nana of Felicia (Eddie) Barker, Sylka Di Biase, Joshua Mena. Dear daughter of the late Joy and Ray Moody. Best friend and sister of Linda Hollingsworth and late Beverly (late Fred) Toews. Darlene will be missed by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Darlene was a lifelong member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, sang in the choir, led many women’s ministries, Sunday School Superintendent, Director of Social Concerns and counselled many as a Stephen’s Minister. She faithfully lived her life serving Jesus and showed His love by loving others.
Mom, our hearts are broken, but we rejoice in Jesus our Savior knowing that we will see you again.
Visiting at Families First, 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor 519-969-5841 on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Visitation continues on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church from 10am until Funeral Service at 11am. A private burial to follow. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
